About Us Currently the CCMSC has fourteen members and is actively seeking new members.  Some members have more than one Victoria and are willing to let newcomers try their hand at sailing.  Several members have well deserved reputations for their knowledge of building, tuning and sailing and have demonstrated their willingness to help newcomers and club members in any way they can.   In addition to the Victorias we sail, several members also have a larger “one design” boat call an ODOM.  This class of boat will probably be the club’s second choice to be sailed in stronger winds.  However, many members will stick with the Victoria as it has shown an extraordinary ability to handle light to strong winds.   During our sailing sessions, those sailors who are consistently scoring well Frequently will offer to trade boats for a race or two and make suggestions or re-tune a boat for a sailor seeking help.   Our emphasis is on fun and although we try to compete by the rules, we do so in a relaxed, informal way.  Many of us are learning as we go.   If you think you might be interested we encourage you to stop at the pond when we sail or contact the club commodore at jmorse3550@aol.com or (508) 833-9270.
